Taking a stroll, power walk, or jog on your Princeville vacation outdoors is a great way to get some exercise and take in the beautiful views and Princeville community. There are some great walking/jogging trails around the area, so we will profile some of the more popular routes here. Whether you choose to take a barefoot run along the beach, or tour the community, make sure you bring plenty of water and a camera- you never know when you will run past the perfect photo opportunity. Princeville has a walking/running path all the way through the community which is perfect for guests looking to explore the general Princeville area without having to drive. What is great about this path is you can choose the best distance and pace for yourself. The path winds around the golf course and ends up by the Princeville Hotel, where you can capture some dramatic views of the ocean.

Powerline Trail is perfect if you want a bit of a challenge and a change of scenery along the way! Powerline Trail is a total of 13 miles and stretches from Arboretum to Princeville. Bother hikers and mountain bikers can enjoy this trail. While this trail has great views, it is quite difficult and wet at times. The trail is eroding, so this may be a good option to start and go part of the way.

Weke Rd. in Hanelei runs right along Hanalei Bay and is extremely flat and a gorgeous trail. Perfect for interval training, Weke Rd. is not in Princeville, but rather nearby beautiful Hanalei Bay.

If you want to run along the water barefoot in the sand you can start at Tunnels Beach and head towards Haena and Kee Beaches for about 2 miles. The sand is soft so it is great for a bit of a challenge! Since Tunnels Beach is right in the heart of Princeville, this is a perfect run on a gorgeous beach.

Anini is another great beach run in Princeville. The sand is a bit coarser, so it may not be the best location for a barefoot run. Your run along Anini will be about 1.5 miles and some areas where you will have to transfer onto the street for a bit. Anini Beach is a bit east of Princeville.
