Pale Ke Kua #219 was just what we needed!

My husband had never been to Kauai but wanted to plan our anniaversary trip. After getting numerous opinions on where to stay and what to do he went to Princeville Vacations property management for a little help. We’re glad he did!

We stayed at Pali Ke Kua #219, a 1 bedroom + loft/2 bath condo in Princeville . The condo balcony sits right on the cliff that overlooks Hanalei Bay. Every time you look up or walk through the condo you get to see the beautiful Pacific and hear the waves crashing below. As we were unpacking our bags, I was able to immediately set the vacation mood with an entire collection of music CD’s of Hawaiian music. Ahhhhhhh…..

The condo had everything we needed for a week long stay or even a month long stay. The kitchen was stocked with every type of dish, pot, bowl, cup and glass we would ever need. And of course, the requisite wine/beer openers that were used most. 🙂 There is a ton of beach towels, a couple of beach chairs and even a small cooler in the unit! A nice touch. And a washer and dryer IN the unit. Yaaay!

Our condo was a stone’s throw from the common pool and jacuzzi, although we never used it. We opted for the short (but a little steep) walking path down to the beach that led to a quiet, reef area where we could snorkel. When I say quiet, I mean, we had it to ourselves the first afternoon we were there! And of course the snorkeling was fabulous.

I need to mention that the condo is also a short walk away for the new St. Regis. I went there a few mornings and took a few terrific yoga classes on the beach ($12) . And a few evenings we went there for drinks in their gorgeous lobby bar (try the Ginger Margarita!) and enjoyed some of the St. Regis entertainment.

Directions to Princeville and instructions from Princeville Vacations on getting keys, the lockbox, were perfect. All the little things were taken care of and our trip went without a hitch. We would definitely stay here again.
